A message from Fred Newman, Interface CEO

As the CFO of a public company that owned psychiatric hospitals, I saw the need for a company that was truly independent in both ownership and contract design to provide Employee Assistance Programs and mental health care management.


I founded Interface EAP in 1989.  My vision was to build an organization that focused on doing the best job for each client. I asked myself, "How do I motivate each staff member to have that vision, that focus?" The answer was to make them part of our team as owners. Therefore, each employee is vested in Interface stock after five years of service at no cost to them. Through this plan they are motivated to care about the integrity and future of Interface; this spirit continues in their attitude toward you, our clients. Their ownership translates into a sincere commitment to excel.
